November 20 - 22 2010.

At the end of November Dave, Gary and 9 of our most loyal DG players travelled to London to watch some serious tennis at the ATP Tour Finals.  After an extremely early start on Saturday morning, we spent most of the day visiting the best shops and sites around the city.  We checked into our Hotel, took a trip (or fifty!) on the tube, and ate an outrageous amount of food.

We spent the whole day on Sunday at the amazing O2 Arena. Amongst the talent on show were Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Robin Soderling and the Bryan brothers.  The event was absolutely brilliant to watch with fantastic tennis, incredible sound and light production and some unofficial entertainment provided by Osgar O’hOisin.  After a long day court-side, the DG players put on the first ever game of tip rugby at the O2 Arena before collapsing into bed at midnight.

On Monday we travelled to the All England Club to have a tour of the brilliant Wimbledon facilities.  We sat on centre court, had pictures taken in the press conference room, and got an interesting behind-the-scenes insight into the workings of the best tournament in the world.

Arriving home on Monday evening, the group were clearly a little tired but a good time was reported by all.  Thanks a million to everyone for being such a pleasure to look after and for making our first international visit such a great success.
